Smoke and Mirrors: the prototype of our fears

Our biggest fear is not that we will fail, our biggest fear is success itself;

It’s less terrifying to stay in our constant, comfortable state of unhappiness, for if we achieve peace and serenity we have nothing more to whine about.

Our biggest fear is not rejection, our biggest fear is obtaining all that we hoped for;
Craving affection, and strong loving arms comes naturally, maintaining it when present is too easy and unexcitingly habitual.

Our generation plugs in and will too willingly let life pass by. We see our parent’s patience thinning and the future never on their side. What our age gives us disguised as knowledge we throw out and grab the first shiny distraction, chasing, never aspiring for the future.

We embrace emotional instability, reach quarter of a century, missing the ambition to go after the world we want.

We irrationally dread that the world won’t in the end put in our laps the dreams we were inevitably too scared to dream.

Should we bother when a heart bubble wrapped is better than one bleeding?
